From our first phone call with Sian to our initial meeting with her and Ed, our Bride was certain that she wanted a gorgeous Queensberry album of wedding photographs to remember her wedding day by. Sian not only wanted beautiful photos of her day but also a way of viewing and preserving them that would reflect their style and personalities in keeping with the wedding day itself.
The end result met Sian’s vision and was indeed stunning! Firstly Sian chose a romantic powder blue cover in buttery soft micro leather. This colour complimented that used throughout the wedding details; from their stationery, cake, shoes and floral design. To further personalise the cover Sian & Ed had their names embossed on the leather, the epitome of understated elegance but with the authority of tradition. A clean font used in the embossing provided a classic but up to date look.
Sian had done a lot of research and knew she wanted nothing but the best when it came to the design and durability. Queensberry was the obvious choice and she fell in love with the luxurious Duo design, which our album makers are renown for. This design style is a beautiful marriage between an elegant matted and polished flushmount page. When designing a Queensberry Duo album the focus for us is very much on conveying the romance of the wedding day but in a very sophisticated fashion. Signature images are allowed to breathe and command full pages or spreads while details and moments are woven together in unexpected ways to create a complete narrative. Due to the craftsmanship of this design style photographs in smaller apertures carry as much significance as their bigger counterparts, allowing each image to stand its ground and reveal a story. This allows the design to beautifully juxtapose big and small images creating interest and delight through contrast within the design. Features such as Flips and Gates further the refined feel of the overall album design.
