Inspiring Places, Trespassing with Friends and New Cameras: May in Instagrams

As we wave goodbye to May we must express our gratitude that this last month of Spring has been bountiful both personally and professionally. In between photographing beautiful weddings and engagement sessions we’ve also been fortunate to connect with many new couples for their forthcoming nuptials. We’ve squeezed in quality time with friends who bring so much goodness to our lives. We’ve also invested in a new camera each and behind the scenes we’ve been excitedly working on a refresh for our website that we’re hoping to launch very soon. If you receive our quarterly newsletter you’ll be the first to know when our refresh goes live so make sure you’re signed up. We’re so excited for these changes as they reflect how we are growing as artists as well as our continual devotion to our craft and our clients. Below we’ve shared some of our personal memories from the last month.  Feel free to follow us on Instagram and Facebook to keep up with what we’ve been doing!

Weddings by Nicola & Glen on Instagram May 2015

Chandeliers + Mirrors {top right and bottom right } Glitzy decor, sensational Bloody Mary’s and a dreamy cafe del mar playlist makes for instant relaxation at the Crazy Bear in Beaconsfield… For a totally different and more rustic vibe their Farm Shop in Stadhampton has amazing (and often very furry and cute) fresh produce.

Bridge of Sighs {middle middle} Hertford Bridge amongst the Oxford University buildings is more popularly referred to as the Bridge of Sighs. Iconically Oxford and somewhere we always love to visit and photograph.

Coral Elephants +  Neon Zebras {Bottom left and top left} There is definitely a theme here when it comes to the lovely treats friends generously gifted Nicola for her birthday.

Om nom nom {bottom middle} Who can resist home made chicken and asparagus pie with buttery greens?! Served directly from field to plate makes the organic cafe at Daylesford Farm in Gloucestershire one of our fave spots for lunch.

A Different Point of View {middle right} Oxford’s Radcliffe Camera is one of the city’s most recognisable sights. We loved the glorious view the building provided as we sipped our coffees in an adjacent garden.

Trespassing with Friends {top middle} This photo was taken by Glen while we were on a lovely afternoon walk with friends in the Oxfordshire countryside. So determined to walk off our Sunday lunch, talking and laughing far too much, we missed the ‘no entry’ sign! Oops…

Inspirational Architecture {middle left} Oxford brims with inspirational architectural details such as this door…it always makes us wonder where will it lead…one day we’ll throw caution to the wind and ring its bell!

WELCOME
