Oxford City Engagement Session – Helen and Chris

It was so great to finally meet Helen and Chris on their Oxford city engagement session. Up until this point we had only corresponded electronically as our couple are currently living in the Middle East. Although Helen and Chris both studied law at Oxford University they only met after graduating when they were both living and working in London. Years spent in this beautiful and historic city meant Oxford had engraved a very special place in their hearts so it was a perfect location to get to know our couple. Seeing the familiar buildings and students in the midst of exams reminded them of their student days and special Oxford University traditions. We loved hearing all their stories as we traversed the ancient cobbled paths. As a surprise for his finance Chris had arranged for a picnic to be ready and waiting at the end of our shoot. As we found ourselves in the peaceful surroundings of Christ Church Meadow this was the perfect time to open the bubbly and say our farewell. When we see Helen and Chris again they will be exchanging their vows at Lower Slaughter Manor in the Cotswolds this summer. Knowing what warm and welcoming souls they both are we couldn’t be more excited to document their celebrations for them!

As the sun sets on the final day of 2025, we find ourselves looking back in deep gratitude on such a special year. The finish line is always a poignant time to take stock and reflect.

This year we photographed the most unforgettable celebrations alongside the wedding industry’s finest suppliers. We got to know the greatest couples on the planet and made memories alongside friends old and new. Thank you to all the people who made 2025 a truly magical year for us behind the lens.

Personally, we celebrated 20 years together (and 15 of those years as wedding photographers!) which was an epic celebration in itself.

In the wake of such a beautiful year, we are excited for 2026 and all the milestones we are already set to be part of. Happy New Year one & all, N&G xxx
