Sophie and Kyle tied the knot in the Cotswolds this February. Vows were exchanged during a romantic church ceremony in the village of Lower Slaughter. The service was followed by a fabulous Hyde House wedding reception. Our Bride is an expert in events so we always knew the occasion was going to be something very special. Knowing a thing or two about delighting guests Sophie and Kyle had something amazing planned for their friends and family. Cocktail hour was accompanied by sophisticated compositions perfectly played by violinist Sally Potterton. The real wow came when Sally surprised guests during dessert with an explosion of contemporary dance beats. A classic wooden instrument was swapped for a chic electric version. The glow of the instrument echoed the twinkling fairy lights as she wove through the tables. Unsurprisingly this really got the party started! Even though their wedding was brimming with thoughtful touches and gorgeous details Sophie and Kyle were without a doubt our favourite part of the day! Our heartfelt congratulations to these two wonderful souls! We wish you many beautiful years of married life together, it is clear to us your love was meant to be!
Soft pink roses and ivory Prada heels made a swoon worthy bridal combination!
After capturing all Sophie’s pretty details we joined the girls as our Bride stepped into her elegant lace and satin dress with its statement train…
Inspired by Sophie’s stunning engagement ring, hues of blue were incorporated into the styling of the day.
Sophie your happiness really shone through every moment, making you even more radiant than you already are!
In between beautiful portraits there were so many lovely moments to capture…like when Sophie opened a surprise wedding gift from her husband to be!
Moments from heading to the church, Sophie looked absolutely beautiful and ready to take Kyle’s breath away!
Knowing that Kyle is an appreciator of quality time pieces, Sophie surprised him with an exquisite Baume & Mercier watch on the morning of their wedding.
Kyle, his Best Man and groomsmen looked suitably dapper for the big day ahead!
Our London couple arranged for a little slice of their home town to be part of the occasion. A red routemaster hit the countryside to transport guests to and from the church!
A little bit of rain and wind did nothing to dampen the beauty of the occasion. We love that Sophie’s mum cleverly organised for our Bride’s Prada shoes to have their very own waterproofs in the form of polkadot shower caps!
At the church on time and with Prada shoes spotless Sophie beamed as her father walked her down the aisle.
The beautiful stone church in Lower Slaughter village was lit with candles adding an extra twinkle to an already atmospheric day.
After a really heart warming service and a kiss under the Church porch our couple returned to Hyde House for their wedding reception!
At Hyde House we had extra fun capturing Sophie and Kyle’s fabulous bridal party!
Champagne was popped of course to mark the occasion!
We then spent a little bit of time with just Kyle and Sophie taking beautiful portraits of our newlyweds…
The classic ivory and gold colour combination of the invitation suite complimented the modern rustic touches of Hyde House barn.
We were completely spoilt by the gorgeous Hyde House interiors for Sophie and Kyle’s portraits on this rainy February day…
A classic capture of our beautiful Bride…surrounded by the candles that the Hyde House team lit all around!
Pretty floral arrangements by Laura of Cotswold Blooms, vintage wine barrels and lanterns added a lovely feel to the reception at Hyde House Barn.
Reflections and frames are simply an artistic backdrop for the romance of the occasion to reveal itself!
After portraits Sophie and Kyle joined their guests for the wedding breakfast…a dinner of delicious food, music and laughter was another jovial chapter of their amazing celebration!
Sophie surprised Kyle with a new look for their first dance. Our couple soon had the dancefloor filled for a party that would last until the midnight hour.
Sophie and Kyle, thank you for choosing us to be the photographers for your Hyde House wedding, we loved being part of it all!
Our appreciation to all who made Sophie and Kyle’s Hyde House wedding happen! A special mention to the fabulous events team at Hyde House who always go above and beyond to make sure everyone is looked after on the day!
