The long wait is finally over with the arrival of the May/June 2014 edition of You & Your Wedding magazine. We are so excited as our A Touch of The Orient inspiration shoot that we photographed at the stunning Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons is gracing the magazine’s hallowed pages! This is a shoot close to our hearts as we have the honour of being one the handpicked wedding photographers for Le Manoir Weddings’ preferred partners, naturally we adore the setting AND we got the chance to work with the most phenomenal creative team to make this shoot a reality.
The creative lead was taken by the uber talented Vicki & Michelle of Pocketful of Dreams. They were at the top of our list to collaborate with when we first conceptualised a shoot using Le Manoir’s Japanese Tea House as the inspirational backdrop so we were over the moon when they agreed to get involved. The way these girls transform their dreamy moodboards into out of this world design is just mind blowing and once again they exceeded all our high expectations. Vicki & Michelle project managed the entire operation and put together the amazing dream team responsible for the all the gorgeous details permeating every inch of this shoot.
We were in our element photographing our Bride dressed in exquisite gowns by stellar designer Kate Halfpenny and our Groom in a stylish October House suit in the breathtaking gardens of Le Manoir. Delectable cakes and sweet treats by the lovely Cakes by Krishanthi were almost too pretty to eat! Inspired florals by Euphoric Flowers tied all the elements together with the luxe yet daring colour palette. Beautiful paper goods by Gemma Milly and eye catching furniture from Vintage Style Hire’s treasure trove created an intrepid set for the romantic Far East look.
