Winter Wedding Inspiration Shoot: A Winter's Tale of Love

A perk of being in the wedding industry is getting to work with some very gifted individuals. One of the amazing people we’ve gotten to know is the super talented Cakes by Krishanthi. Open a national wedding magazine and you are sure to see one of her stunning creations on its glossy pages. Krishanthi is also one of the loveliest people in the wedding industry. This coupled with our personal love for the creative touches in a wedding means we were over the moon to work together on another fabulous creative project last summer. A Winter’s Tale of Love is a winter wedding inspiration shoot all about finding inspiration from the natural beauty of winter. It focuses on how to incorporate seasonal elements found in nature into an event or special occasion such a wedding day in a fresh and stylish way. From pinecones, antlers and even moss the shoot meshed understated organic textures with a refined and super luxe palette of celebratory details. Krishanthi produced an elegant four tiered show stopping cake in silver and white. Exquisite antlers adorning the cake echoed the elements of nature. Adorable mini cakes included tiny antlers and itsy pinecones so cute they will make you giddy! Other sweet creations included a wintry meringue tower, moss green macarons and cherry topped cupcakes. All the dried organic materials were created by equally creative Scented Floral Creations and put together fabulously by stylist Kerry Scanlan. We were very chuffed to see the resulting photographs from this winter wedding inspiration shoot featured on the Boho Wedding blog.
