This months photo of the month, combines two of our loves. Weddings and food. The food served during the wedding is often overlooked by wedding photographers. For us it is an integral part of the day. The beautifully crafted canapés served during cocktail hour through to the amazing wedding breakfast menu’s, often designed especially by our couples for their guests, are all part of the wedding day experience we are there to photograph.
Being wedding photographers means you have to put on a variety of different photography hats during the wedding day including:
- Fashion photographer – for portraits and showing people at their best,
- Street photographer – for capturing candid moments,
- Commercial photographer – for taking the interiors of the wedding venue,
- Product photographer – for taking the details of the day. Including of course the food.
This months photo. A selection of canapés beautifully garnished and presented for the wedding guests. The selection looks mouthwatering and deserves to be photographed to look as good as it tastes. It is also important to remember that as the bride and groom not only will you have spent time deciding on these tasty morsels but in years to come the image itself may well bring back the taste of the food you had and with that the entire memory of the cocktail hour just after you were married.
