Is there anything more romantic than an English countryside wedding in the beautiful Cotswolds?! Caroline and Phil’s wedding at The Slaughters Manor House this summer surely proves not. Our couple said I Do amongst foxgloves, roses, lavender and all their guests as fluffy white clouds lazily floated across the skies. The combination of perfect weather and the most bucolic setting was incredible. Drenched in the June sunshine the relaxed atmosphere of their outdoor ceremony felt endearingly intimate. Everyone loved listening to the personal stories regaled by their celebrant, which told of how Caroline and Phil had found their perfect match in each other when they met in Oxford’s chemistry department. The sweet sounds of violin and cello added to the inviting mood. Whilst gorgeous floral arrangements in hues of pinks, peaches and berry enhanced the midsummer feel. Other fabulous details included a ballet slipper pink cake with the most delicate ruffled sugar work. We really enjoyed capturing the joy that emanated from Caroline and Phil as they celebrated their love.
