When the Bride is a beautiful, intelligent environmentalist and the Groom is a pretty damn cool rock and roll drummer you can hardly believe it when you discover they’re both the nicest people too. Their Hedsor House wedding fell on the most idyllic of summer days. Stephanie being an avid fan of The Darkness met Darby at a concert when he was the drummer for Justin Hawkins’ new band Hot Leg. This fated night resulted in drum lessons and a date too! As music brought them together it was always going to play a big part in their celebrations. After their first dance the guest list of bona fide rock stars took to the stage for a variety performance like no other. Used to drumming for crowds of thousands playing at his own wedding with all his music industry pals must have still been pretty special for Darby. And Stephanie making the most of the drum lessons all those years ago by getting behind the drum kit herself to play with the band that led to meeting the love of her life surely endows this concert with iconic status for both of them. It’s certainly the one to beat for us!
