One of my favourite things about engagement sessions is afterwards, at the viewing, when the bride-and-groom to be see the photographs from the shoot for the first time. The nervous excitement before the slideshow starts is always apparent. The couple usually exchanging knowing glances and a few cheeky giggles, maybe even giving each other a reassuring squeeze of the hand. Their love for each other and and the feeling that they’re in this together, for each other, is so perfect. And then the slideshow starts. And what always takes my breath away, every time, is the excitement and adoration as they see the person they love appear on the screen. This was Emma & Paul.
Emma & Paul’s e-shoot was done at the majestic Pittville Pump Room, one of the oldest and grandest wellsprings of the regency spa town of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. It was a fabulous experience and we shared quite a few laughs while getting to know them a bit more throughout the shoot. It’s not too long now till their upcoming wedding this Summer at the lovely Sulgrave Manor, and we can’t wait to see their reaction to the memories & moments captured from this day. It’s going to be magical.
