Oxford College Bodleian Library Wedding: Lucy and Matthew

Lucy and Matthew’s Oxford College wedding with Isobel Weddings was a beautiful affair to photograph. The celebrations fell on a September’s day with an indulgent autumn sun that covered everything and one in hues of gold. Our couple met while at Oxford University so the setting would always play a special part in their wedding. The ceremony was held in St John’s College Chapel. As the reverend had a zero photography policy we had to get quite creative to get the shot! The I Do’s were followed by champagne in the quad of St John’s. Lucy and Matthew were then showered in confetti before leading all their guests through the streets of Oxford to their wedding reception at the Bodleian Library. The Divinity School looked magnificent with art deco touches that included a show stopping cake by our talented friend Princess Patisserie. After enjoying good food and lots of dancing Lucy and Matthew were bid farewell with a sparkler send off at midnight that really captured the magic of the day.
