The Bodleian Library with its breathtaking architecture and centuries of history makes a magical setting for an Oxford wedding. We love photographing weddings here and are super honoured to be one of a handful of Oxford wedding photographers recommended by their dedicated events team. As one of their wedding partners the venue asked us if we would be involved in an inspirational wedding shoot to create new marketing collateral and show couples just what was possible in this unique wedding space. Of course we said yes! The resulting photos have been published in issue 143 of Perfect Wedding magazine as well as the Bodleian Library’s beautiful new wedding brochure. Details of all the suppliers who took part in this fun collaboration can be seen below.
Based on an actual love story that unfolded here, our styled shoot was set in the atmospheric Divinity School.
A sumptuous palette of deep red, amber and gold reflected the rich tones of the beautiful architecture.
Romantic love notes and floaty fabrics added a whimsical note to the table design.
