Earlier this summer we got to travel to a new part of the country for Philippa and Adam’s engagement shoot. Ahead of their wedding at Maunsel House in Somerset this Autumn our couple wanted their engagement shoot to be at their new family home in Nottingham. I was very excited about this as Walt Disney’s Robin Hood was one of three video cassettes we owned and repeatedly watched growing up on our farm in South Africa. The thought of driving past the legendary Sherwood Forest provided a childlike thrill!
Another treat was having Philippa and Adam’s two little ones, Rory and Emily, join the session to make it more of a family shoot. We loved getting to know all four of them at their beautiful home. Their sprawling gardens, complete with its ancient fruit orchard, provided a great setting for the shoot. Everyone quickly relaxed and starting enjoying being in front of the cameras, perhaps the girls a bit more so than the boys! Thank you Philippa and Adam for trusting us to be your wedding photographers and for the lovely lunch we enjoyed with you after the engagement shoot. We can’t wait for what promises to be an amazing wedding celebration at Maunsel House!
