February has been a fleeting month full of contrast; endings turning to beginnings and a time for quiet contemplation while the momentum of the year starts to take you in its fold. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to prepare. From designing stunning new studio sample albums and updating our website. We’ve also been working on good habits we hope to see us through the next 10 months. Most notably we’ve started setting time aside each day to develop a daily meditation practice. Research suggests that this simple habit can improve happiness and reduce the hormones that stress us out and leave us feeling tired and uninspired. For anyone looking to explore meditation we are really loving HeadSpace an awesome app that includes a free ten day introduction called Take Ten. For now, we leave you with a look into the last month through a few of our favourite Instagrams.
Inspired Quote {bottom left) This quote had us in stitches…we love our yoga but when it’s cold and dark let’s just say namast’ay in bed is all too tempting!
Me & Mine {top right} This portrait of the two of us was taken at a rather swanky photo booth at Sarah Haywood’s Wedding Bible book launch at the Four Seasons Park Lane by Foto Noir.
Valentine’s {middle right} Valentine’s Day was a treat of relaxed and refined indulgence at one of our favourite Cotswold pubs, The Feathered Nest, where the food is fabulous and the views are to die for!
Portrait in Blue {middle middle} Our V-day lunch was also an opportunity to get the iPhone camera out, one of my favourite past times, which on this day of love Glen had to graciously put up with…
Spring Has Sprung {middle left} Pretty crocuses in a park near our house and a lovely reminder that Spring is coming.
Catnaps {top left} Hemingway our Burmese cat certainly knows the best way to while away an afternoon…there is a very good reason the expression is called a catnap!
In the Press {bottom middle} We were also thrilled to see two of our beautiful weddings from last summer hit the newsstands. They were featured in the March/April 2015 edition of You & Your Wedding. You can see the full feature here!
Organic Feast {bottom right} I’m not sure who out of the three us was most excited about a delivery of stunning produce from Sheepdrove Organic Farm in Berkshire.
Winter Ramblings {top middle} Studies have also shown that being in nature promotes wellness. The beauty of this moment of ethereal calm as sun rays beam through the bare wintery forest on one of our woodland walks makes it so obvious as to why.
