In honor of the amazing weather we have had recently this months photo of the month shows how the beautiful light of the late summer evenings can really add something special to an image.
This image was taken in between the couples speeches finishing and their evening reception starting just as the sun was beginning to fall from the sky. Using this time of day gives a soft and romantic look to our wedding photographs which combine beautifully with the bride and groom photographs taken earlier in the day. This is one of the reasons we advise our couples to have two shorter portrait sessions with us in the day as opposed to one longer one. Not only does this enable you the bride and groom to spend more time with your guests before you sit down for the wedding breakfast but it yields a variety of images with different feels to them that will look amazing when displayed together in one of our stunning albums.
As wedding photographers knowing how to work with the different light at the different times on a wedding day, enables us to convey a mood in our images that helps reflect the changing ambience and atmosphere of the wedding itself. This really helps when creating the narrative of the day in our images.
As we enter August and with a diary full of amazing weddings ahead we are really looking forward to using the different light these months offer us to create some truly memorable images for our couples.
