Laura and Patrick are celebrating their upcoming wedding at The Manor House Hotel in Castle Combe. The proposal that led to the planning of this wonderful day happened on the canals of Venice. Patrick picked the perfect spot for the occasion but did not factor in the variables of gondola politics that would make his quest so tricky! On the first attempt a very competitive queue led to our couple missing the last boat for the day much to Patrick’s dismay and Laura’s surprise at his reaction. Undeterred the last ride for the following day was promptly secured. The next evening, finally aboard the romantic waterways, Patrick soon realised they had the most talkative gondolier in Italy! Finding a moment at last he pulled out the box containing the beautiful ring he had especially chosen for Laura. To her delight this was accompanied by a question to which she happily said yes!
For Laura and Patrick’s Cotswold arboretum engagement session we met at Westonbirt near Tetbury.
Despite the tumultuous spring weather the trees were in bloom and our couple in high spirits.
In between showers we managed to capture some lovely photos of this gorgeous couple.
