Sarah and Scott’s Barnsley House outdoor wedding fell on one balmy summer’s day in June. A sky softly overcast in the morning turned blue and finally golden by evening. A relaxed and happy atmosphere permeated the day. We adored all the beautiful details in hues of blush, gold and grey. Highlights included their handmade gold foil letterpress stationery suite and all the pretty floral touches by Flowers by Passion. Mostly we loved spending the day with this gorgeous couple. From the fun of the morning surrounded by best friends and family to the romance when Sarah and Scott could enjoy time together as husband and wife… what a gorgeous wedding it was!
Barnsley House in the Cotswolds is always a magical setting for a wedding day.
Sarah chose the romantic Rosemary Verey suite, nestled in the gardens, for her bridal preparations.
Surrounded by nature and pretty details; sparkly Jimmy Choos and a whimsical bouquet of peonies and roses.
We loved seeing our Bride so happy surrounded by her mother, sister and best friends.
There was no shortage of laughter and giggles as this fun bunch helped Sarah get ready for the day.
Sarah looked absolutely beautiful in a floaty wedding dress with embellished detailing on the bodice.
A cathedral length veil, trailing ribbons and an elegant up do completed her stunning look!
Sarah’s father was beaming with pride when he finally saw her!
These gorgeous ladies are responsible for one of the funnest wedding mornings we’ve ever documented!
Not far away Scott and his Groomsmen were getting ready in the Potting Shed suite by the vegetable garden.
Scott looked dashing in a bespoke Beggars Run suite tailor made for the day.
Our Groom polished off his attire with a blush tie and pocket square…
…And a stylishly sized buttonhole by the Flowers by Passion team.
Scott and his Groomsmen welcomed guests to their Barnsley House outdoor wedding ceremony.
Golden calligraphy used on the invites and signage ensured everyone knew where to be…
And soon everyone was seated for the ceremony at Barnsley House’s gothic garden Temple.
Sarah made her entrance to the sounds of a string quartet…
But all Scott’s senses were consumed by the vision of his beautiful Bride to Be!
Vows and a first kiss were exchanged underneath a riot of trees.
And our newlyweds were congratulated by a shower of confetti!
After the ceremony we captured family photos as well as their stylish bridal party…
Cocktails and refreshments were ready and waiting…
For guests to enjoy in the sun soaked gardens of Barnsley House.
The music continued and garden games commenced…
While we stole Sarah and Scott away for some portraits together.
We love those natural moments that can happen in between the classic photos!
We always encourage our couples to make the most of this precious time together on their wedding day…
As it’s not long until they rejoin cocktail hour for fun and frolics with their guests.
While Sarah and Scott returned to the drinks reception…
We made our way to the Potager to capture their reception space and details.
The cool interiors of Barnsley House looked magical with candles blazing amongst the floral displays.
Golden accents tied in beautifully with the grey and blush colour palette of the day.
A mixture of calligraphy and florals ensured every detail exuded prettiness including this beautiful seating plan.
Sarah and Scott entered their wedding breakfast to a thunderous applause!
Delicious food by the Barnsley House team was followed by highly entertaining speeches.
In between a course we stole Sarah and Scott away for portraits by the water temple…
Our beautiful couple matching the surrounds with their romance and grace…
One of the most gorgeous cakes by Curtis & Co added another stunning element to the day!
Admired by all as our couple cut their the cake at the Temple where cocktails were enjoyed in the evening sun!
Congratulations Sarah and Scott; your wedding stands out for how much we enjoyed capturing your special day!
Thank you everyone who made Sarah and Scott’s Barnsley House outdoor wedding happen!
