There is something adventurous yet very comfortable about Fiona & Rob’s relationship. They share a love for travel and new places and this would be fate’s way of bringing them together. At university in England they meet and fall in love on an academic trip to Vienna. Both know they have found something special so when landing back in England it is perfectly natural for Rob to invite Fiona to his parents home for the rest of the weekend. A few years and several new destinations later Rob whisks Fiona away for a romantic getaway in the Oxfordshire countryside. With no idea about where they are going or how long for, Fiona finds her favourite dress in the suitcase Rob has packed. Rob proposes.
Fast forward 6 months before their wedding and we meet for their engagement shoot. They’ve never been to Cheltenham before so are keen to come here for the session, the only guidelines being for it to be relaxed and natural. We set off for an investigative wander and pitstop at an artsy cafe for a laid back meeting over coffee and cake, getting to know them and their relationship. What we discover is two people completely comfortable and content in each other’s company. Balancing their fearless love for each other and exploration, their is a sense of home when they are together.
Getting to know Fiona & Rob during their engagement session we are thrilled to be part of their big day and we know they’re going to have an amazing celebration. As wedding photographers with a penchant for travelling, we love photographing weddings all across the UK and we are so excited for Fiona & Rob’s wedding at Pangdean Barn near Brighton this summer.
