Hayley and Rob’s beautiful Blenheim Palace summer wedding unfolded on a near idyllic summer’s day. Months and months of planning all came together for a relaxed day of celebrations in this most luxurious of English wedding venues. Hayley and Rob always wanted somewhere spectacular for their nuptials and Blenheim Palace was simply perfect. After Rob proposed to Hayley in the breathtaking surrounds of Bali the bar for a fabulous location was always very high for this jet-setting couple… Hayley and Rob your devotion to one another was so special to document. With the love you share and your endless good humour you are sure to having many unforgettable years ahead! Thank you again for letting us share in your amazing day.
Hayley’s style was classic and oh so pretty. Lace floral detailing delicately covered our Bride’s Pronovias wedding dress. Hayley’s bridesmaids donned gorgeous coral gowns, a hue that added a pop of colour throughout their wedding decor.
Rob and his groomsmen looked equally dashing and complimented the girls in their blue suits. The stylish Feathers Hotel in Woodstock allowed our couple to get ready in the same location without fear of running into one another before their ceremony at Blenheim Palace.
Stunning florals by Joanna Carter Flowers picked up the coral and white wedding colours. Beautiful blooms nestled in tall glass vases filled the elegant Orangery at Blenheim Palace.
The ceremony was emotion filled and lovely with Hayley and Rob’s happiness shared by all their loved ones. Our Groom had actually broken his knee a few weeks prior to the wedding, but not even crutches could keep our couple from having the best day ever!
After the ceremony and a few glasses of champagne on the terraces that look out on the gorgeous Italian Gardens at Blenheim Palace we headed out for their wedding portraits.
With a fantastic driver manning the Palace buggy we navigated the Palace grounds, Rob’s crutches and all, for some photos of the newlyweds!
Our wonderful couple alongside all the inspirational architectural features of Blenheim Palace was the perfect combination for some beautiful portraits.
Hayley and Rob wanted photos that would capture their day, the joy of the occasion and of course the magnificent setting where it would all play out.
With our Groom’s mobility being slightly hampered by his broken knee we focused on a couple of key locations that made the most of the setting. With Hayley and Rob’s fantastic approach to the challenges of the day and our knowledge of the Blenheim Palace grounds we got the fabulous portraits they wanted in the usual time frame we recommend to all our couples.
While our Bride and Groom rejoined their guests for bubbly we nipped back into the Orangery to capture the reception decor. The Orangery had once again been transformed by the fabulous Blenheim team and Joanna Carter Flowers!
Following a decadent three course meal and speeches the evening light was near perfection for Hayley and Rob’s second portrait session.
As we stole our couple away for twenty minutes we made the most of the soft golden hues and romance of the evening light.
The day was far from over as our couple’s first dance commenced and evening of revelry and fun. We look back on Hayley and Rob’s day with such fondness and we once again congratulate our couple on their happiness together!
We would love to extend our appreciation to the fantastic team that made Hayley and Rob’s Blenheim Palace summer wedding happen:
