According to Julia’s father our gorgeous Bride started planning her dream wedding from the age of three when she got to be a flower girl in someone else’s big day. All the years of preparation and dreaming must have paid off as Julia and Mark celebrated the most incredible day at their Birtsmorton Court wedding this summer. From the double moated manor house to the spectacular secret fireworks display in the evening the entire day was perfect and filled with surprises and personal touches.
Julia and Mark incorporated elements from their many shared interests into their big day. For instance Mark and Julia are crazy about their cat Cooper who aptly graced every table name in a different pose of cuteness and ferociousness. They both love the States where Mark asked Julia to marry him so fast food servings of pizzas and chips all individually boxed were perfect to serve to all their evening guests. They wanted all their friends and family to have an amazing time so giant props and sandals were set aside for the dance floor, alongside a magician and photo booth for even more laughter and entertainment. Their passion for sweet treats led to a giant pick n mix stand for all their guests to enjoy throughout the night. All this fun played out against a backdrop of prettiness that Julia and Mark had spent hours making themselves for their big day, from their show stopping table plan to the beautiful stationery. All this thought and effort combined to create what can only be described as a magnificent celebration and the best part was seeing them both have an incredible time together, surrounded by all the people they care for most.
Julia’s sophisticated bridal look fused elegance with style. She wore the very aptly named Beauty wedding dress by British designer Caroline Castigliano from The White Room bridal boutique in the Cotswolds where owners Lesley and Rachel helped Julia complete her look perfectly with gorgeous Stewart Parvin and Jenny Packham accessories. A pair of heart melting Jimmy Choo shoes given to Julia by her mom and dad stole the show!
Julia & Mark were married at the magnificent Chapel at Cheltenham College, its soaring arches and light filled space making the perfect setting for the pair to exchange their vows.
Birtsmorton Court with its double moat surrounding the medieval manor house made an exquisite location for Julia and Mark’s wedding reception. Guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés on the terrace and in the spectacular White Garden. Their wonderful events manager Trish Brackstone and her team made sure everyone was cared for and ran the day superbly for Julia and Mark.
We absolutely loved being part of this fabulous couple’s wedding and we wish Julia and Mark the most wonderful future together. To see more from their gorgeous Birtsmorton Court wedding please feel free to view the slideshow below.
