A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending Birtsmorton Court’s press day with the fabulous Rachel from The Cotswold Wedding Planner, an expert wedding planner with an impeccable eye for detail and styling. When Rachel invited me along I was thrilled as this was a rare occasion for me to go out as the principal photographer, a hat usually worn by Glen.
Birtsmorton Court is a stunning double-moated medieval country manor house in Worcestershire steeped in history, beauty and charm. Birtsmorton Court has the rare privilege of being a family run business, with Simon & his wife Kathryn running both the estate and events. With weddings growing more and more popular Simon now has a dedicated events team who do a fantastic job at planning & co-ordinating weddings at Birtsmorton Court and creating a fantastic experience for all their brides & grooms to be. To showcase their incredible venue Simon and the team decided to host a Mad Hatter’s themed tea party for their press day to really highlight the White Garden & impressive great hall, which are the two fabulous locations for wedding ceremonies at Birtsmorton Court. These magnificent settings make the perfect backdrop for stunning Cotswold wedding photography.
It really was a spectacular event and I had an amazing time exploring the magnificent venue whilst enjoying Rachel’s fantastic company. I also had the pleasure of meeting Diana Saxby from Grace the Day, an independent wedding celebrant who specialises in elegant ceremonies tailored to the couple with the freedom to be conducted in any setting and personalised to the bride and groom. A lovely day and thank you again to Rachel for inviting me along to cover the event for her wedding blog.
