Our first photo of the month is one that we really wanted to share with you all for several reasons. Our style of photography has been described as elegant, soft, beautiful and romantic and the images we show are usually centered around our brides and grooms themselves and the weddings they create. This means occasionally we get asked questions like: “Do you take pictures of guests?” and “Do you photograph reportage / documentary style, or do you photograph family groups and speeches?” The answer to all of the above is yes. We are there for the whole of your wedding day and record all of those little moments that happen that even you do not see alongside the images we are known to produce for our clients that really reflect the wedding that they have created.
So our first photo of the month for us typifies the “capturing the moment” aspect of our wedding photography. Photographed by Nicola during the speeches at a wedding at Bix Manor in Henley this image is one that so many people have had a reaction to, most people can not help but smile as soon as they see this image because I think we can all relate to our own Grandmother or older relative having a similar reaction on hearing a naughty joke from the groom or best man. This moment is one that all family members will treasure and even for the casual observer it will hopefully raise a smile and a memory of their own.
