Diana & Clive’s beautifully intimate wedding this summer was exceptionally dear to both Glen and myself as we have a very special connection with the bride. Diana was responsible for Glen and I first meeting when I first came to the UK in 2005 giving her a very significant place in our personal history. When she got in touch with us to tell us she was getting married to Clive and that she would like us to be there to capture the day, we were overjoyed and felt very privileged to be asked to be part of a gathering that was made up of only the couple’s closest friends and family. They held the reception at The Angel restaurant in Long Crendon, a foodie’s dream wedding reception as they specialise in fish and are located in an exceptionally charming Buckinghamshire village. A heart warming small wedding that was all about Diana & Clive’s love for each other and celebrating the union of their two families. We wish Diana & Clive all the happiness for their future together.
Diana looked ethereal on the day in a romantic grecianesque wedding gown. Her bouquet of gypsophila was elegant and understated. Chief bridesmaid on the day was Diana’s long standing companion and trusted canine friend.
Diana had arranged surprise wedding transport for her groom to be in the form of a JCB as Clive works in the construction industry.
The quaint English village of Long Crendon was perfect for some relaxed and romantic wedding portraits of the bride and groom as they enjoyed the first few hours of being newly married. After portraits the couple returned to The Angel restaurant where family and friends awaited a gourmet wedding feast, the perfect end to a lovely and intimate wedding celebration.
