Mia & Jon’s betrothal must have been written in stars. They met many times before they actually started dating. Over the years that shared sense of inevitability grew stronger as everyone around them wondered “did the scriptwriters steal this storyline for Rachel and Ross in Friends?” Although Mia is from Bolivia they decided to get married at The Slaughters Manor House as the Cotswolds has always been a very special place for Jon and his family. The I Do’s would take place in the candlelit stone Church in the village, followed by a marquee reception in the Manor House gardens. The vaulted ceiling of the marquee revealed a secret garden, with a giant floral hoop as the central wow factor, which blurred the boundaries between the inside and gardens. The wedding exuded an innocent sense of wild abandon, with love at its very heart. Highlights from the day, of which there were many, unusually included the Groom’s speech. Jon had every guest in tears and a 15 minute sojourn was required before the Best Man could take the stage. The most beautiful day and couple, congratulations again Mia and Jon!
