Amy and Matthew’s wedding at the Slaughters Manor House fell on a frosty December day. With feints of snow the night before sprinkles of white created a winter wonderland. Candles, lanterns and delicate white florals added to the atmospheric feel of the season. Bridesmaids in ice blue picked up on the colour of Amy’s engagement ring. A decadent chocolate cake made by our Bride’s brother and favours of sloe gin ensured guests were kept warm and cheery too! Our couple decided to have a late afternoon ceremony when the light would already be low. Knowing that after their I Do’s there would be no natural light left for photos they decided on a First Look before the ceremony. This meant that if the weather was good, as it was, we could take beautiful photos in the grounds and get most of the photography done at this time. Their First Look in the secluded back gardens was just lovely and our couple felt happy and relaxed for the rest of the day. Congratulations Amy and Matthew, it was a pleasure capturing your Cotswold winter wedding at The Slaughters Manor House!
