Harriet and Chris met through a shared love of skydiving. This adventurous pair’s paths happened to cross at the DZ. (That’s skydiving talk for the drop zone folks!) Months later mutual skydiving buddies emailed Chris saying he just had to meet this girl and that they would really get on. Chris realised he already had and that they certainly would, so he reached out to Harriet without a second thought. At the time he was stationed in the Middle East and she was on a medical placement in Australia. Their friendship flourished via emails and Skype calls. Three months later they finally had their first date at the HAC Ball in London. Amidst champagne, dinner and dancing their fate became forever entwined. Harriet and Chris, thank you for inviting us to be a part of your big day. It was an honour to capture your beautiful Cotswold wedding at the Slaughters Manor House!
Harriet looked sensational in a classic Mia Mia Bridal design by Marguerite Hannah.
Harriet is both drop dead gorgeous and incredibly smart; she wouldn’t brag about this herself but our Bride is a qualified doctor and has at least two degrees…that we know of!
Every Bride to Be should have a best friend like Abi by her side; someone who can make you laugh in an instant and who you have known since your first degree!
Harriet’s radiance was simply mesmerizing; we couldn’t wait to see Chris’s reaction when he saw his Bride.
Harriet made sure she was dressed and ready with plenty of time to spare so she could pop the champers and have some beautiful photos taken too…
The ceremony was to be held at the romantic stone church of St Mary’s in Lower Slaughter Village where our dapper Groom was waiting.
Despite the Spring showers Harriet made the short way to the Church on foot with her proud Father by her side.
Everyone was in awe as Harriet made her way down the aisle…
Our Bride and Groom sealed the occasion with a kiss that could have come straight out of a classic movie!
After the ceremony our newlyweds led the way to champagne and canapes!
The stylish and cosy interiors of The Slaughters Manor House made a fabulous setting for the drinks reception.
With a brief break in the rain we stole Harriet and Chris away for some portraits.
Unsurprisingly we all wanted to make the most of the lovely gardens of The Slaughters Manor House for photos!
We love capturing the happiness that exude from our couples soon after the ceremony.
As the realisation of having said I do to your soulmate is still sinking in…
This is time away from all your guests to simply connect with each other.
Harriet and Chris were a dream to photograph…
Gentle direction from us to find great light and place everyone at ease sets the scene for our couples to enjoy having their love documented.
Thank you Harriet and Chris for trusting our encouragement to be in the moment and enjoy each other’s company.
Creamy florals with touches of green by the Broadway Florist suited our couple’s classic style.
Congratulations Harriet and Chris, we wish you all the happiness as you navigate life as husband and wife!
