We are so excited to share Anna & Rhys’s gorgeous Rosewood London wedding on our journal. London is where Anna and Rhys met and fell in love so rightly London was at the very heart of their wedding celebrations. From their ceremony at St Brides Church tucked into the heart of Fleet Street. To their sophisticated reception at Rosewood London that inspired the luxe copper decor and art deco detailing for the occasion. Anna and Rhys’s winter wedding embraced all the historic and modern finesse London has in spades. We extend our heartfelt felicitations and appreciation to this wonderful couple. Having witnessed what a profound connection you both share we know your lives together will continue to be adventure filled and wondrous! Thank you also to the fabulous team curated by Isobel Weddings who made sure Anna and Rhys’ Rosewood London wedding unfolded just perfectly!
Anna got ready with her sisters and parents in one of the stylish suites of the Rosewood London.
Sophisticated yet relaxed florals by Emma Walker Flowers and to die for Lucy Choi heels suited the fabulous surroundings.
Assisted by the lovely Jess from the Claire Nicole beauty team Anna’s bridal look was feminine and oh so elegant!
When we laid eyes on the exquisite detailing of Anna’s Gemy Maalouf dress from the fabulous team at Morgan Davies Bridal our excitement levels definitely doubled!
Anna your radiance was overwhelming as you stepped into your wedding dress…
Our Bride’s vivacious personality and happiness on her wedding day magnified her natural beauty!
With Anna’s two sisters helping her put the finishing touches in place the atmosphere was charged with excitement and playful laughter.
Finally ready to walk down the aisle the mood in the room quickly changed to serious contemplation as everyone took a moment to admire the beautiful Bride to be.
A few streets away Rhys and his Groomsmen were all meeting to have lunch together at The Delaunay.
Rhys was his usual self, in high spirits and making everyone around him feel confident and at ease!
The elegant restaurant with its imposing entrance has a timelessness that suited the spirit of the day.
At last the time had come to get into a London black cab and make our way to the heart of what once was the home of British national newspapers for the ceremony.
St Bride’s church reflects Fleet Street’s impressive past. On close inspection you can see markers to giants in the history of journalism and publishing on the Church pews.
With flower girls in tow and surrounded by family and friends on either side of the impressive aisle Rhys and Anna’s happiness shone as they finally stood side by side.
An exchanging of rings and a first kiss never looked so momentous than in the epic setting of St Bride’s church!
Nothings says congratulations better than being greeted by rose petals from your guests as you step out of the Church doors!
After the ceremony a black cab took our newlyweds to their luxurious reception setting at the Rosewood London.
Isobel Weddings and the Rosewood London team made sure the spectacular Grand Ballroom looked mesmerizing for Anna and Rhys’s wedding reception.
Copper hues and understated detailing subtly infused the art deco inspiration of the setting into the table styling. Bare branches, succulents and seasonal elements elegantly referenced the harsh beauty of winter.
It was so much fun stealing away with Anna and Rhys for a short while to take some beautiful portraits of the two of them together.
Sublime architectural spaces and accents gave us plenty of choice for atmospheric winter wedding portraits of our lovely couple.
Anna & Rhys’s art deco inspired luxury wedding cake by Princess Patisserie was without a doubt a show stopper standing centre stage of the dance floor for everyone to admire.
After heartfelt speeches and an unforgettable cake cutting our couple hit the dance floor for their first dance. Officially the start of the evening celebrations everyone got up to boogie for what was clearly going to be an incredible party late into the night!
