The Tythe Barn Oxfordshire Wedding: Nicky & Ben

Nicky and Ben celebrated their relationship with a fabulous wedding at the impressive and ever so charming Tythe Barn in Oxfordshire. Getting to know this London couple in the build up to their Oxford Barn wedding it was no surprise to us that when the big day came how surrounded by love and support Nicky and Ben were. When thinking back to their nuptials, the words I would choose to conjure up their wedding would be warm, natural and relaxed. The same words would easily describe Nicky and Ben themselves.

An outdoor ceremony with guests on wooden benches flanking an isle of wisteria created an informal and sunny start to the day’s celebrations. Open and bold blooms of sunflowers matched the warmth of the old wooden beams and tables of The Tythe Barn. Rustic flower containers such as tin watering and milk cans fitted in perfectly with the rural setting. Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts provided decadent family style catering with guests self carving the delicious roast dinners served for the main meal. A soft wash of romance and love across the entire day created the ambience for a truly wonderful occasion. An incredible sunset towards the end of a balmy summer’s day was the perfect close to the daytime celebrations and their portraits. On this note we must say thank you to our lovely couple for being such fun to photograph and saying yes to all our requests to make the most of beautiful light throughout the day.
