We met Anna and Rhys for their engagement session while they were visiting the UK from Singapore over the summer. Our couple were in England for the week to attend a family wedding as well as squeeze in some of their own wedding planning in between the celebrations. Anna and Rhys chose the buzzing Nortcote Road in the heart of Wandsworth and its surrounding leafy parks for the shoot location. As we chatted over a coffee it was great to know that Anna and Rhys were returning to a spot they both loved. This was the very place where Anna lived when the two of them first met and started dating. Since then they have moved overseas together for work, got engaged and more recently they are just relocating back to this lovely area. We had the best time getting to know Anna and Rhys and can’t wait for their upcoming nuptials at the Rosewood London with Isobel Weddings.
We started the engagement session in the park where Rhys, in a gentlemanly attempt to win her affections, first walked Anna home.
With some soft early evening sunlight and such a lovely couple we were in our element! Anna and Rhys both looked fantastic for the shoot in complimentary navy and nude shades.
Choosing the Northcote Road London, a location so special to them, for their engagement session personalised the entire experience.
We loved the juxtaposition of the green spaces and urban London streets. Most of all we adored that Anna and Rhys were just themselves with us.
After the initial and natural nervousness of being in front of the camera Anna and Rhys simply enjoyed being in each others company…and this was really wonderful to capture!
