Emma and Sarhan celebrated the most lovely day in the fetching gardens of the Manor House Hotel in Moreton in Marsh in the Cotswolds. What made it especially romantic and personal is that they decided to incorporate a first look into their day where they would see one another before the ceremony. We were so thrilled when Emma and Sarhan first expressed they would love a first look for their wedding celebration as it is a beautifully intimate moment for the couple to share and begin the day with a real feeling of togetherness.
Sarhan has a wonderfully multifarious background; bearing a fine kilt and thistle to represent his Scottish roots on the day and with Bengali flowers in sugar work to adorn their wedding cake made by Emma’s mom to pay homage to his Indian ancestry. A dapper bow tie added a stylish touch and hinted at Sarhan’s love for classic movies. Emma wore a very elegant wedding dress with an exquisite cowl back design. Emma and her twin sister and chief bridesmaid wore matching wrist corsages signifying their close bond even on this momentous day.
For their first look we had Sarhan waiting for Emma in the secret garden of the Manor House Hotel. Bees and butterflies amongst the lavender made for a tranquil spot but this only intensified the anticipation as Sarhan heard Emma’s footsteps on the gravel path. As Sarhan turned around to see his love they instinctively took hold of one another by the hand to share a poignant moment together. This made a perfect prelude to the highlight of the day where they would walk down the outdoor aisle hand in hand with their son Johnny in their arms for their marital blessing and the naming celebration of their little boy.
