“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination
and life to everything.” ― Plato
Kelly and Rob’s destination wedding at Lords of the Manor was the happiest of occasions! Our effervescent Canadian duo had their friends and family join them from across the pond for a weekend together in the beautiful Cotswolds. Kelly and Rob wanted everyone to experience the things in life that have brought them so much joy as a couple. From hiking in the English countryside to the Michelin starred cuisine and even a surprise performance by celebrated jazz artist Ian Shaw. We loved capturing the atmosphere and cheer of the occasion. Kelly and Rob, congratulations to you both! You are a wonderful example of how love should be cherished and celebrated!
Kelly and Rob prepared for the wedding ceremony side by side…
This allowed us to capture portraits in the stunning grounds before the official proceedings of the day.
Kelly and Rob were met by all their guests in front of Lords of the Manor.
Before making their way to St Peter’s church across the road…
…With our Bride and Groom leading the way for the processional!
A heartfelt blessing and wonderful choral performance ensued…
After which our Canadian couple and their guests delighted in marking the occasion with confetti!
The throwing of confetti being a foreign English tradition added a novel touch to the proceedings!
Kelly and Rob led the way back to the Manor in the golden afternoon sun.
The low light added a dash of magic to the environmental portraits, which our couple really wanted captured.
It was also perfect weather to kick off the champagne reception on the lawns.
As the last warmth left the air, guests moved indoors, while we took the final portraits in the apple orchard.
The talented Julia Sibun was enlisted to help our couple plan everything from abroad with ease.
The restaurant at Lords of the Manor looked gorgeous with twinkling candles, fresh herbs and vibrant florals…
With her experience and little black book Julia Sibun ensured that every detail was perfectly planned.
Dinner unfolded with exquisite dishes, fabulous speeches and much merriment.
After dessert a surprise recital by the legendary Ian Shaw was the perfect end to Kelly and Rob’s amazing day!
