Louise & James are playful, fun and have a real spirit for life. It’s wonderful being around them as they can’t help but involve everyone with the good time they are inevitably having. Importantly they really care about those around them. What really struck us on Louise & James’ beautiful Hyde Barn wedding was the sense of community from everyone there. People travelled from all across the UK and further to celebrate this day with them. Their joy for life and love for each other connected people and that is such a special gift to give. To illustrate this I can’t think of a better moment than during the evening reception when Louise and James surprised their guests with a live Ceilidh band. Everyone joined together, including the youngest and the oldest, to dance together and have an incredible time. James and Louise were in their element sharing their happiness with everyone present. It was such a perfect moment and expression of them.
Having got to know Louise and James for a while now we were so excited for their wedding. We knew that Louise was incredibly creative and had thought of and made so much to personalise their wedding day. There was no way we could have been prepared for the incredible wedding she put together when we arrived at Hyde Barn that morning. The neutral and earthy tones and textures of the venue were just perfect for all the natural in style wedding details that Louise had created with the help of her mum Jane. From various herb plants as centre pieces for each table (to become a herb garden for Louise and James after the wedding) to the individual miniature jars of homemade chutney for each guest. Louise even surprised James with wooden cake toppers that showed the groom in his RAF uniform! We have so much love for this couple and there wedding so without further ado we are delighted to share some photographs from their day…
Louise looked absolutely gorgeous in her elegant Justin Alexander dress and I am pretty sure I wasn’t the only girl who fleetingly considered throwing caution to the wind and running off with Louise’s stunning Jenny Packham lace shoes. Luckily there was so many beautiful moments and details to photograph I was soon distracted. Plus a few stern words from Glen quickly straightened me out!
One of our favourite moments of the day is seeing James’ face as he first laid eyes on his beautiful bride. Pride, joy and love all at once!
Seeing the emotions of Louise’s dad giving her away was pretty special to witness as well.
Although a bitterly cold March day Louise braved the weather and we had such a lovely time photographing the two of them together and capturing the happy moments after they had just got married.
Louise’s beautiful wedding stationery suite really showcases the time and detail that was put into creating a day that was really personal to them. This lovely natural, elegant and warm feel carries through the entire day.
This photo really captures everyone having a great time and how they shared in Louise & James’s happiness.
We wish Louise & James a happy future together and thank you for letting us be part of your journey. To see more from Louise and James’ wedding day please play their wedding slideshow below.
