Imagine being proposed to on top of a majestic mountain on Rhodes, one of the most beautiful Greek Islands, at sunset…well this is where Charlie asked his fiance Iffy to marry him! Their very romantic story began when Charlie, a strapping Scotsman from Glasgow, met Iffy, a true Greek beauty, as students in the University town of Bristol. For them to meet in this historic city on the Southern reaches of England is quite extraordinary when you consider that they both grew up such a great distance from here. As fate would have it they ended up in the same town, at the same university and at the same time. The rest as they say is one beautiful and adventure filled history! Iffy and Charlie are a perfect balance of shared passions and complimentary contrasts. Together they form an inimitable bond that has so far resulted in many memories and is now taking them on the biggest adventure yet as they plan their wedding and future lives together.
For their engagement session we met at their beautiful home in Ross on Wye in Herefordshire. It was a lovely location and ideal for a relaxed shoot while getting to know them both. Rain clouds loomed but did not break and Iffy and Charlie’s natural warmth effortlessly brightened up the atmospheric tones of the weather. They shared their plans for their upcoming nuptials this summer at Birtsmorton Court, a gorgeous Malvern wedding venue bordering on the Herefordshire countryside. Charlie’s family will be travelling from Scotland and Iffy has guests from across England and Greece joining them too so it will be a truly international affair that we can’t wait to be a part of!
