Jats and Richard share a love for their adorable Shih Tzu named Cooper and dining at world class restaurants, which is why they are getting married at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons later this summer with Cooper as their Dog of Honour! They also have a passion for visiting Landmark Trust properties; a charity that rescues and restores unusual and important historic buildings. These amazing buildings, dotted across the UK, are available to rent for holidays. Being in high demand they unsurprisingly book out a year to eighteen months in advance! Jats and Richard chose Clavell Tower in Dorset as the amazing setting for their destination engagement session.
The dramatic Jurassic coast with its coastal paths and walks made it a perfect location for their dog Cooper.
This was to be Jats and Richard’s 9th or 10th visit to a Landmark Trust property together; making it a meaningful location for the shoot.
Jats and Richard enjoyed champagne at the Tower while we waited for the tempestuous seaside weather to settle down before exploring the surrounding area.
With the thunder and rain abating we traversed down the steep cliff on which Clavel Tower is situated to the pebbled beaches of Kimmeridge Bay.
We explored amongst fishing boats, rocks and fossils while documenting Jats and Richard together.
Getting to know Jats, Richard and Cooper and this beautiful part of the country was such a treat. We can’t wait to capture their upcoming wedding celebration at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in the Oxfordshire countryside.
