When Seattle natives Allie and Gabe started exploring wedding venues, our bride’s parents made the left-field suggestion to consider the Cotswolds in England where they had recently travelled. When our couple googled the quaint village of Lower Slaughter, with its historic manor house and meandering river, they were instantly smitten! A destination wedding, with their close knit family, would allow everyone to have an unforgettable experience. Allie and Gabe took over this sleepy English village for a week in November. Along with their guests they enjoyed billiards, fish & chips, countryside walks and clay pigeon shooting as part of the pre-wedding fun. The actual I Do’s happened on Thanksgiving; a holiday their families always celebrate together. Vintage buses took everyone to St Peter & St Paul’s in North Leach, known as the Cathedral of the Cotswolds, for the ceremony. Thanksgiving Dinner was then enjoyed at Cripps Barn. Roaring fires and a profusion of foliage and fairy lights created a dreamlike atmosphere. Sophisticated and fun Allie and Gabe’s wedding was a treat to capture!
