Sophie and Kyle’s paths crossed on a night out in London. Kyle knew he simply had to see Sophie again but after asking her out failed to make it to their actual ‘first date’. Undeterred by a less than impressed Sophie, Kyle pulled out all the stops to get Sophie to give him another chance… the hard work paid off and these two souls are saying I do with a gorgeous celebration in the Cotswolds this month. Kyle put as much effort into proposing to Sophie as he did to get that second first date. On a visit to family in Scotland Kyle had booked them an extra few days in Edinburgh as a surprise. Sophie, on seeing the dates on their plane tickets, assumed Kyle had made a mistake with the booking…the mystery eventually unravelled when Kyle took Sophie to a viewpoint overlooking Arthur’s Seat as asked her to spend forever by his side.
Sophie and Kyle chose a Cotswold woodland engagement session as they loved the quiet and natural spaces this setting would provide for the photos.
We were instantly struck by how natural and easy going Kyle and Sophie were together. The shoot flowed easily between soft moments together and irrepressible fits of laughter, which we loved!
Sophie brought along a selection of winter scarves, jackets and coats. These added a lovely variety to the shoot as we changed things up between locations on our woodland walk.
