Ella and Roman’s Cotswold festival wedding was a gorgeous three day fiesta in one of the most beautiful parts of England. From its inception our couple wanted a celebration that was generous in spirit and heart. An entire weekend that was about spending time with their family and friends creating memories they could all look back on for years to come. The ELRO wedding festival kicked off with a pre-wedding pig roast alongside the picturesque campsite where guests were glamping for the weekend. The morning of the wedding was a hive of activity as months of planning an event from the ground up was coming to conclusion. Everything came together for the zenith of the celebrations as Ella and Roman tied the knot in a breathtaking woodland setting. Relaxed garden cocktails in the sunshine after the ceremony were followed by a feast in the stunningly decked out Big Hat Tipi. As event designer Michelle of Pocketful of Dreams described it, “the wedding was a mashup-up of boho-woodland, meets Moroccan magic, meets Russian folk.” Thank you to Pocketful of Dreams and the fantastic creatives who put together such an abundantly beautiful backdrop for our couple’s gorgeous wedding celebrations. Ella and Ro, it was such an amazing experience being part of your wedding. We admire the daring breadth of your dreams and the alacrity with which you embrace life. With these special qualities we know you have a lifetime of adventure and love ahead of you!
We adored Ella’s blush toned wedding dress from Cocoa Couture and her wild floral bouquet by Westwood Design. Ella runs her own yoga studio with her sister Fleur, Ella & Fleur Hot Yoga, so our Bride’s style was destined to be unconventionally gorgeous.
Roman made the most of the tranquil woodland setting by getting ready at the resident shepherd’s hut amongst the trees.
On a visit to the site before the wedding with our couple and their fantastic independent celebrant Grace the Day we picked a perfect spot for Ella and Roman’s outdoor woodland ceremony.
Westwood Design adorned the natural willow arch underneath which our Bride and Groom would exchange their vows with striking florals including proteas and pampas grass .
Ella and Roman’s fabulous bridal party consisted of best friends, siblings and their adorable dog Oscar who stayed by their side throughout the day!
Arm in arm with her dad Ella made her way towards her fiance in readiness to say I do… We love seeing our Groom’s expression as his Bride met him at the top of the aisle!
Their ceremony led by Diana of Grace the Day was both personal and moving. Oscar of course kept a close watch on the proceedings and Rosie, their flowergirl, kept the congregation entertained!
We can’t imagine a more beautiful place in which to become Mr & Mrs! Roman and Ella you certainly married in style…
Mere moments after the ceremony as Roman and Ella led their guests towards the start of the party…
There were countless details that added to the atmosphere and beauty of the day…from the moroccan outdoor lounge created by rugs, crates and lanterns to the hand illustrated site map by our Bride’s talented sister.
Suspended stars and love abounding…all part of the whimsy and romance of Ella and Roman’s Cotswold festival wedding.
One of our favourite details of the day, our couple’s table plan created by Pocketful of Dreams, also doubled up as a vodka tasting bar!
A giant paper installation by Things by Laura added a sense of theatre and scale to the wonderfully styled Big Hat Tipi interiors.
Congratulations once more Ella and Roman, we hope you enjoy looking back on your truly magical wedding day!
We extend our appreciation and thanks to the fabulous folk who made Ella and Roman’s Cotswold festival wedding so very special!
