Carly and Gareth both dearly love the Cotswolds, a perfect reason to get married in this beautiful region later this summer. Living in London these two make the most of any opportunity to visit so it was fated they would choose the Cotswolds for their engagement session too. Carly and Gareth specifically decided on Lower Slaughter for their Cotswold countryside engagement session; one of our favourite villages in the area! It was so great to finally meet them after months of phone and email correspondence. We quickly saw the multitude of reasons that make these two soulmates. Both in very creative fields it was in fact work that brought them together in a fashion. A mutual friend and colleague of Carly’s brought Gareth along to their legendary works bar where they were introduced and instantly connected. Carly being a marketing maven and Gareth a talented photographer himself in the luxury fashion world meant they had tons in common from the start. It is their shared roots in the countryside and similar outlook on life that has kept that initial connection firmly in place. Plus with the addition of their handsome Persian cat Claude things have very much been unofficially official! After nearly 8 years together the time was right to take the next step and Gareth proposed to Carly in style in Paris. We are honoured that this discerning duo connected with us for their wedding photography and we can’t wait to join them for their beautiful nuptials at Calcot Manor in a few months’ time.
