When you have known one another for a few years it takes quite a lot of guile to pull off the perfect surprise proposal. Cue Fiona and Ted who are getting married at the end of the year in the lovely Oxfordshire setting of Launton’s Tythe Barn! Our couple met five years ago. Ted knew that it would take all the artfulness he could muster to catch his very smart and intuitive girlfriend unaware! So when Fiona took Ted on a surprise birthday trip to Lake Como an unexpected opportunity presented itself. When our couple arrived in Italy and their hotel room was not ready Ted had to mask all his nerves about leaving their baggage with the engagement ring unattended in the hotel lobby while they roamed the streets of Milan. Then when the day of the proposal finally arrived Ted had to outdo both tourists and pickpockets until the perfect moment when he could finally ask Fiona the big question…of course she said yes! 
It was so lovely getting to know Fiona and Ted on their engagement session in Cannizaro Park in the London village of Wimbledon.
Our couple dressed in summery shades of cool blue suiting the balmy English weather perfectly.
We, no let’s be perfectly honest, Nicola particularly adored Fiona’s white polkadot blue wedges and her geometric print top that picked up on the quirky pattern of Ted’s belt!
Cannizarro Park with its unspoilt natural beauty was a lovely place for the shoot. The fact that it is in leafy Wimbledon where Fiona and Ted now call home made it extra special.
This lovely couple are clearly meant for one another and we can’t wait to photograph their upcoming wedding in Oxfordshire this winter!
