We really love getting to know our couples through the events we photograph. For our first wedding of 2014 we were invited to document Emma and Vinny’s very intimate wedding in Bristol. Along with 13 other close family and friends it was a privilege to witness this vivacious couple marry in the historic Bristol registry office. This is the first of three amazing wedding celebrations we are capturing for them this year. The next being at the Oshwal Centre in Potters Bar London for their Sri Lankan Hindu ceremony and then finally at the magnificent Blenheim Palace for their definitive wedding bash! The next two occasions will be shared with many relatives and friends so it was lovely for Vinny & Emma’s inaugural I do’s to be a delightfully personal experience.
Emma looked very, very beautiful as she joined her dashing fiancé to exchange their vows. She wore a red dress that looked sensational and was something a bit different from what she’ll be dressed in for the approaching celebrations. As the newly weds exited the building they were surprised by all Emma’s close friends who were there to throw confetti while street performers serenaded them in acappella. We then journeyed up to a local street market to Emma’s favourite juice bar where our adventurous couple marked this special occasion with freshly prepared juice shots. These went down with mixed reactions! After this playful stop Vinny and Emma rejoined their guests at Hotel du Vin in Bristol, a charmingly restored Sugar House and the perfect setting to see in the night. We can’t wait to document the next chapter for Vinny & Emma in what is going to be a truly splendid year ahead.
