The story of how Stephanie and Michael met is one of the most romantic we have ever heard. Our couple first connected over the phone. Michael is a jewellery specialist and Stephanie happened to be working for a jewellery company. The two instantly clicked. Michael knew that somehow he had to meet this girl whose telephone conversations made his day. So he set up a “competition”. The winner would have the chance to tour his business and ultimately meet him…how suave! Stephanie or course entered and won not only the competition but Michael’s heart! These two beautiful souls tied the knot with a magnificent Blenheim Palace wedding this summer. Two of the kindest and most warm hearted people we have ever met. Stephanie and Michael, we are so thankful our paths crossed with yours and that we could capture this beautiful chapter of your epic fairytale!
With Michael’s background and how he met Stephanie, the wedding rings were destined to be exquisite!
But nothing could compare to the sparkle of our beautiful Bride, her Mother and Bridesmaids!
Glam by Coco and Martyn Holmes from Strangeways did an amazing job…Stephanie looked sensational!
Stephanie’s Father’s reaction when he saw her on the wedding morning was simply priceless…
There is no greater joy than capturing so much love between families.
Apart from maybe getting to photograph a stunning Bride such as Stephanie in a Palace of course!
Michael and his Groomsmen got ready for the wedding at the characterful Bear Hotel in Woodstock.
Michael made an extremely dapper Groom pairing classic details with a swish caramel suit.
Blue skies were out in force for Stephanie and Michael’s Blenheim Palace wedding.
The Orangery looked elegant in white and champagne gold with floral styling by Ivy Rose Florist.
Stephanie’s stunning Bridesmaids wore fitted floor length gowns in white and honeyed hues.
Stephanie arrived in style in a romantic, white, horse drawn carriage from the The Ostler.
Our Bride’s entrance on her Father’s arm was such a joyful moment to witness!
Especially when Stephanie was surprised by her favourite singer performing as she walked down the aisle!
When you have just married your soulmate…
…With all your loved ones by your side!
Our newlyweds were showered in rose petal confetti as they led the way to the drinks reception
Guests were welcomed on to the sun soaked terrace in front of the Italian gardens.
To enjoy libations and canapes while our Bride and Groom had their formal family photos taken.
Overlooked by coy statues and with a string quartet adding atmosphere the celebrations were an elegant affair!
Stephanie and Michael arranged to include the horse and carriage for their portraits on the bridge!
After which we went to the Water Gardens, one of our favourite places, for Bride and Groom portraits!
Stephanie and Michael wanted truly beautiful wedding photos to remember their special day.
We carefully planned the timeline with them to include two portrait sessions on the day.
To make the most of the various locations, the light and ensure we could achieve everything they hoped for!
After their first portrait session Stephanie and Michael were welcomed back by all their guests.
While we photographed the stunning Orangery and details before the start of the Wedding Breakfast.
Another element high on our couple’s wish list was to enjoy the day with all their friends and family!
A wonderful dinner prepared by the Searcys chefs was followed by heartfelt speeches.
Michael’s Best Man had everyone in stitches!
After the Wedding Breakfast everyone headed from The Orangery to The Great Hall.
Where we paused on the steps of The Great Hall for photos with the stylish Bridal Party!
And an epic photo of all Stephanie and Michael’s guests in front of the Palace.
With the dreamy evening light we had hoped for we then did Stephanie and Michael’s second portrait session!
Dramatic environmental portraits, part of our signature style, were inspired by the architecture and our couple!
It sure takes a Bride like Stephanie to outshine a fabulous setting like Blenheim Palace!
Inside The Great Hall everyone admired the 9 tier cake made by Stephanie’s talented Maid of Honour!
After an impressive cutting of the cake guests enjoyed a private tour of Blenheim Palace.
With The Palace duly enjoyed it was time to return to The Orangery for the First Dance and start of the party!
Stephanie and Michael, what an unforgettable day you had! You were so fun to work with, let’s do it all again!
