Amy and Oliver celebrated their wedding surrounded by the spring gardens of Barnsley House in the Cotswolds. Gifts of the season, including tulips in full bloom and magnolia blossoms, created a magical atmosphere. We loved spending the morning with our Bride in the serene surrounds of the Rosemary Verey suite. Floral detailing on Amy’s lace dress echoed the botanical surrounds. Although most of the day would be very relaxed our couple wanted a touch of tradition by having a church blessing. A vintage Triumph car made a suitably stylish way for our couple to get to and from the village church. We loved how everyone pulled together to make the wedding amazing despite some very wet weather. The GM of Barnsley House spent the morning ferrying guests to the church in his own car. The hotel’s wedding planner, Rachel, cleared the conservatory of the bridal suite to ensure a lovely light filled space for group photos. Our couple braved the weather for portraits in the gardens when the rain had almost abated. Guests huddled together good heartedly underneath parasols for speeches on the terrace. Amy and Oliver’s wedding reflected the best in the human spirit; a beautiful notion to take into their married life!
