Maunsel House Wedding: Philippa & Adam's Wedding

This past October weekend saw us documenting Philippa and Adam’s beautiful Maunsel House wedding. Our couple along with their guests all travelled to the Somerset countryside for a weekend of celebrations in this charming setting. The Autumnal colours and scents that are so reminiscent of this time of year impressed themselves with fiery ivy blazing across the exterior and hearths gently smoldering inside the characterful Manor house.

Philippa and Adam wanted to marry during this season because it reflected their shared love of Alpine activities. These conveniently also made for the perfect relaxed and fun filled couple of days they had in mind. After a chilled round of golf for the boys on the Friday afternoon everyone gathered within the manor’s quirky interiors for an evening of merrymaking where family and friends became acquainted with one another before the big day itself. This was also a warmup for the festivities that would unfold the next day. Gluvine, fresh crepes and a hogroast around open fires meant the party on Saturday night would continue long after the the ceremony and wedding breakfast had concluded.

Not to be outshone by the evening celebrations their wedding day itself was just wonderful. Philippa looked absolutely radiant in her bespoke Sassi Holford gown. A pair of killer Miu Miu heels picked up the purples hues of the florals and details of the day. Adam could not have looked happier as his gorgeous Bride joined him to exchange their vows in front of their guests. The rest of the day unfolded beautifully with our couple side by side. We can’t wait to show you more of Philippa and Adam’s unique Maunsel House wedding but for now, while our couple sip Mojitos in Barbados, we are happy to share this preview of their day!
