Hiking Gorges and an Epicure’s Delight: Our July Adventures

July has been an amalgamation of everything life has to offer; expeditions involving gorgeous people, occasions and settings! We have photographed some down right breathtaking weddings, worked with some of our favourite creatives and collaborated with new talented folk too. In between editing and shooting we’ve managed to squeeze in yoga, hiking in the Somerset countryside and one of the most beautiful meals we’ve ever eaten. You can follow along behind the scenes on Instagram or see some of our personal highlights from the last month below…

Cheddar Gorge {top left} We took to the scenic Somerset countryside this month for a hike up Cheddar Gorge while Nicola’s brother was visiting us from Edinburgh.

From Above {top middle} At the top of the Gorge we were met by spectacular views and wild mountain goats. Reward usually follows the struggle; in this case a steep climb!

Magical Oxford {top right} A recent visit to the Bodleian Library in Oxford where we are lucky to be photographing a wedding soon left us spellbound. The architecturally stunning Divinity School was the Hogwarts infirmary in the movies…wow!

Starter – Crab | Main – Pork | Dessert – Lemon {Middle} Three of the sublime courses we enjoyed at Lords of the Manor‘s Michelin starred restaurant. The experience was an epicure’s delight!

Forty Winks {bottom left} Our Burmese cat Hemingway enjoying a snooze, he knows the value of a good night’s rest.

Cornish Coast {bottom middle} Being slightly obsessed by pretty paper goods this Cornish inspired stationery was a must have to our Nicola’s collection.

Win-Win {bottom right} Online shopping…everyone’s a winner! Especially if your name is Hemingway and you love nothing more than playing in a box or tearing apart tissue paper!

WELCOME

As the sun sets on the final day of 2025, we find ourselves looking back in deep gratitude on such a special year. The finish line is always a poignant time to take stock and reflect.

This year we photographed the most unforgettable celebrations alongside the wedding industry’s finest suppliers. We got to know the greatest couples on the planet and made memories alongside friends old and new. Thank you to all the people who made 2025 a truly magical year for us behind the lens.

Personally, we celebrated 20 years together (and 15 of those years as wedding photographers!) which was an epic celebration in itself.

In the wake of such a beautiful year, we are excited for 2026 and all the milestones we are already set to be part of. Happy New Year one & all, N&G xxx
