Amy and Ian’s Lower Slaughter Manor wedding unfolded in every beautiful and heart warming way that makes our profession as a Fine Art Cotswold Wedding Photographer so wonderfully enjoyable and rewarding. We were welcomed into this special day by our couple. Their happiness, love and ardor uncontainable.
Our day started with Amy and Ian’s preparations for the wedding. Even though it was the one time of the day they were apart they were still united. Their 5 boys, whom they adore the most, unknowingly tying them together as they dashed between the two throughout the morning. As our Bride was getting ready each of the older boys came to see her, looking so dapper in their white trousers and blue Hugo Boss blazers. Each of them would have a special role in the day’s events. From bearing the rings; making a reading, to even singing a song during the blessing in the church that followed the wedding ceremony.
We were all captivated by Amy’s radiance that day. Our Bride was gorgeous in her bespoke Alan Hannah dress and sparkling Jimmy Choo heels. Her look was elegant, timeless and so stunning that Amy completely took Ian’s breath away, twice! The ceremony at Lower Slaughter Manor followed by a service in St Mary’s were both beautiful and full of emotion, which we just loved photographing. Following the blessing was a celebration that included champers and lawn games, a warm up for the exquisite food that would follow and an evening bash that would last into the small hours of the night. We stole away for some romantic portraits of our happy couple. Some of our favourite photos of the day ensued, made by Amy and Ian being completely in the moment, their connection so evident. Thank you Amy and Ian, what an honour to document your bliss on this very special day!
